Currently, no signature is needed from the counselor in order to register, however, it is suggested that the students should have reached out to their counselor via email to verify that the class/classes they are registering for will fulfill their graduation requirements. Chippewa Valley offers several courses in Credit Recovery to meet student's needs.  Please note that Credit Recovery Testing can only be registered for by calling (586)723-6954.

  • Credit Recovery Summer School 2024

    Credit Recovery Classes are designed to assist students in recovering classes needed for graduation. Currently, no signature is needed from the counselor in order to register, however, it is suggested that the students should have reached out to their counselor via email to verify that the class/classes they are registering for will fulfill their graduation requirements. Chippewa Valley offers several courses in Credit Recovery to meet student's needs. Students will need to supply their own computer/device for the summer credit recovery program. STUDENTS MUST HAVE TAKEN A COURSE IN A PREVIOUS TERM AND NOT PASSED IN ORDER TO REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE. PLEASE NOTE: Registrations June 30th through July 6th will have their username and password sent to them on July 10th after 8am. The district is closed June 30th through July 9th so no staff is available for questions. We appreciate your understanding and wish you a Happy 4th of July! Please make sure that you register for the correct fee. Those not qualifying for free or reduced lunch fee will be charged the additional amount and if not paid, the class will not receive credit.
  • Testing Out - Credit Recovery Exams

    A credit recovery exam is available for students that did not successfully pass a course from the tests available. The cost is $50 per semester exam and space is limited. Students will earn credit for the course if a minimum grade of 70% is achieved on the exam. You may only register for one exam per testing date. THIS COURSE IS FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT PASSED A CLASS IN A PREVIOUS TERM. ❖ Credits earned through testing out may not be accepted by some colleges/universities. ❖ It is the student’s responsibility to contact colleges/universities that they may be considering applying to in order to learn more about specific college and university admissions policies regarding “test out” credits on high school transcripts.
